'I am delighted with the excellent care and
individual attention given to my much loved
mare over the years she has been living at
the Happy Horse retirement home. The owners
and staff are extremely knowledgeable, kind
and caring, and treat my horse as if she were
their own.
She is very happy there and I am
safe in the knowledge that she is being looked
after extremely well. I have no criticisms
at all and I am sure that there is no better
place for her to enjoy her retirement.

Chloe
Chloe will be 25 this April and when I visited the other day she has never looked better
Since I sent her to you back in December 2007 I have always been impressed by the care and attention you show each horse and pony.
She is very happy there and I am
safe in the knowledge that she is being looked
after extremely well.
I'm so glad I made the
decision to send her away to live out her days with you
in a beautiful and tranquil part of the world.
You, your family and staff always make us feel welcome when we visit, you are fantastic.

Mac
My beloved pony spent his last years at Happy Horse Retirement Home in the care of very knowledgeable, experienced and sympathetic staff.
He was very happy and relaxed in this stress free environment where he was treated with respect and compassion.
A true "haven" for retirees which I can highly recommend and would not hesitate to use again.

Tilly
Living at a busy competition yard was beginning to take its toll on my slightly crazy, older mare Tilly, who always seemed stressed and not the happy horse she should be.
I needed to make a tough decision about what was best for her. After going up and visiting Nicky and her team I knew straight away that this was the best place for Tilly.
I was amazed at how quickly she settled in and knew I had made the right choice, the set routine and calm surroundings have had an amazing affect on her and when I come to visit it is like visiting a new horse.
I do miss her and her crazy ways but know ultimately it was the best thing I could of her done for her.
Tilly now has friends for life and I know she has the best care that could be given her. I would retire here if I could!!!
